Employee Stock Ownership Plan: No, but you might get a discount if you sign up for Starbucks.

: No, but you might get a discount if you sign up for Starbucks. Brand Personality: Yes, but it is not one of the biggest. Instead, it has its roots in the fast-food industry as well as being a major player in international markets like China. It doesn̢۪t hurt either that it recently relaunched the Happy Meal program, allowing parents to order online and pick up their kids from school any morning of the week.

As far as burgers go, one thing that has been consistent since McDonald's first opened its doors back in 1940 is how tasty they are. Its ’50 Foot Drive’ burger is considered one of the world's tastiest burgers – and I mean that in terms of taste!

Cost: $13 to $17 per hamburger; you can still find deals with meal plans, or even better, buy bundled meals or subs.

Brand Personality: There are few brands as beloved as Applebee’s. They seem to always deliver high levels of customer satisfaction–and that goes for both regular customers and franchisees alike.

So, why does everyone enjoy ordering at this venue? Not only does it offer premium quality products, but the way it handles complaints has garnered quite a reputation and trust in recent years.

It is no surprise then that franchise locations have reported success at handling complaints as well. What I really love about this company though is seeing how easy it is for anyone to open a store like this, making opening franchises easier than it had been thought possible in the past. Plus, now that they are offering delivery, it makes sense to work for an already established brand.

The higher prices tend to be around $5 more, but there are ways you can save money if you shop around and shop with other stores nearby.

On average, however, Applebee’s delivers a similar level of service to chain dining venues, meaning you can expect to pay less overall. But still, it comes across as having the same quality and offers something special that you won’t find elsewhere.

Brand Personality: From everything I̢۪ve mentioned thus far, it seems clear that Applebee̢۪s values quality and customer service above anything else.

Their slogan is â€Å“Quality is Everything,” while their management style seems to focus on delivering excellent customer experiences at every touchpoint. Of course, they do take pride in serving large groups, which might require extra staff to manage larger queues.

Like almost everywhere else I write about, the services offered by Applebee’s fall under the umbrella category of full-service and upscale restaurants. One reason for this is that Applebee’s tends to rely heavily on fresh ingredients for their menu offerings rather than using frozen ones that are often readily available in supermarkets.

This, I believe, increases their value proposition by targeting different niches. Because of my belief that fresher foods tend to cost less in general, I think that helps Applebee’s stand out.

If you ask me, this is one of the reasons all the franchisors I know are willing to invest in opening new businesses at Applebee’s due to its ability to improve their bottom line while helping create customer loyalty.
